This Italian-American actor first started as a pro boxer. However, Tone Danza shifted from the ring to the circus of Hollywood after achieving a 9-3 record. He appeared on “Taxi” until it ended in 1983. He then went on to land the starring role in the TV series “Who’s the Boss” and got 3 Golden Globe nods for his efforts. He went on to appear in “Family Law” and “The Practice.” However, his career slowed down in the subsequent decades. Now, the 68-year-old actor is focusing on his family and enjoying his semi-retirement.
