She’s yet another Brat Pack fixture who enjoyed peak career success in the 80s. Prior to Ally Sheedy’s acting gig, she became an author of a bestselling book at the tender age of twelve. Then, in the 80s, she started landing roles in key films of the decade, such as “Bad Boys,” “St Elmo’s Fire,” “The Breakfast Club,” and “War Games.” The fame, however, must have done something to her peace of mind as she developed a sleeping pill addiction and later did a rehab stint that cooled her career. She later recovered and went back to the acting circuit, making appearances in TV shows, such as “CSI” and “Psych,” and in a number of films.
