Lisa Whelchel was a former Mouseketeer on “The New Mickey Mouse Club” and eventually joined “Survivor: Philippines,” which makes this actress a real all-rounder of a talent. However, she got her big break on “The Facts of Life” a year before the 80s kicked off. After a 9-year run, the show folded, but not before Whelchel dabbled in music and released an album in 1984, which got her nominated for a Grammy. Currently, she is into motivational speaking, which she has done for the last 10 years, sharing her faith and releasing books on prayer, life, and parenting.
