The rocker David Lee Roth used to be the original lead singer of the highly successful band Van Halen, but tension with guitarist Eddie Van Halen led him to strike out on his own career path. During his run with the band, the group churned out hits like “Diamond” and “Jump,” among others. However, as a solo artist, his songs, like “California Girls,” only generated moderate success. Eventually, the 65-year-old returned to the band and went on a massive tour, the biggest in the band’s history. While he continues to tour with the band to this day, Roth also broadcast YouTube videos of himself talking about different topics.
