He was smart enough to take the ball and run with it, having gone on to make more films and solidified his celebrity status with films like “Apollo 13” and “Hollow Man.” The 61-year-old actor has since dabbled in film directing, producing, and music-making. His many involvements in the industry sparked the infamous trivia game “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.”
