William Zabka became widely recognized as that bully villain Johnny Lawrence in “The Karate Kid.” He went on to reprise his role in sequels of the hit 80s flick. His other notable appearance was as Audrey’s boyfriend in “National Lampoon’s European Vacation.” He later dialed down his acting projects in order to work towards becoming a filmmaker, which he indeed achieved. He earned an Oscar nomination in 2004 for a short film. These days, he works as a screenwriter, producer, director, and actor, appearing in “How I Met Your Mother.” He also directed music videos and commercials.
