A Pantene shampoo commercial got her the attention of many at just 16 years old. Her line on the ad, “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful,” became closely associated with her. The model, unsurprisingly, then shifted to film via starring roles on “The Woman in Red” and “Weird Science.” One of the prettiest women of the 80s went on to appear in other films in the next decade. However, her projects petered out and her personal issues, including her divorce from Steven Seagal, overshadowed her career. She also struggled with drug issues and became reclusive, choosing to spend time in her home and with her family. She is said to be thinking of making a career comeback, though.
