Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates loves reading and considers his books as his companions. Every night before retiring to bed, he sees to it that he spends an hour reading a book on topics ranging from politics to current events. He reads about 50 books per year, which breaks down to one per week.
Meanwhile, Oracle of Omaha – Buffett – shares his piece of advice to become smart and wealthy: read a lot. “Read 500 pages every day. That’s how knowledge builds up, like compound interest,” he once said in an interview.
Aside from the numerous benefits of reading in acquiring new knowledge and expanding our imagination, it also helps reduce stress and improve memory. According to a study, reading for as little as six minutes a day can reduce stress levels by up to 68%.

Organizing your schedule, workloads, and errands should be put in writing. A journal or a to-do list would help you stay focused on accomplishing those on your list. Highly Successful people know the importance of a well-planned day as this allows them to have ample time at night for themselves.
