You Won’t Believe Where Creative People Found Their Inspiration
Are you a creative person who has lost your inspiration because of being at the same place for a long period of time? Is the monotony of everyday life getting to you? Probably, this is time for a vacation. If you’re looking for a place to visit to help you get your inspiration back, look no further than Barbados. It has a lot of fun activities to do and beautiful places to see, and it will surely get your creative juices flowing again. The best time to visit this island is from January to April because that’s when the temperatures are the most enjoyable. Nonetheless, you won’t be disappointed during the other months either.

Here are the things to do in Barbados that will surely help you find your inspiration. We know that many celebrities did.
Take a walk around the town on Bridgetown
Bridgetown is the largest city in Barbados, as well as its capital. It was formerly known as The Town of Saint Michael, and it offers a lot of inspirational spots. From the Cathedral Plaza to the Montefiore fountain, this city has something for everybody. Take a stroll around the military garrison and be inspired by the historic architecture that dates way back to the 17th century.
Explore Harrison’s Cave
Nothing is as beautiful and inspirational to artists than the raw and unrefined beauty of something nature spent years making. Since this is one of the most popular attractions Barbados has to offer, you need to book a tour online in advance. Depending on how adventurous you’re feeling and how much money you’re willing to spend, you can book tours that last from 45 minutes to 4 hours.
Visit all the beautiful beaches
It is hard to decide which of the many breathtaking sandy paradises you should visit first. If you’re having trouble choosing between Silver Sands, Reeds Bay, Accra, Crane, Dover, and many others, look them up and see which one seems perfect for you. But a must see is Carlisle Bay. Its clear waters are perfect for snorkeling and discovering the amazing depths the ocean has to offer; you could even explore beautifully haunting shipwrecks.
Go on a catamaran tour
If you want to see the beauty of Barbados, don’t rent a car or visit the tourist spots on your own. Instead, take a catamaran tour. These can be private and semi-private, and the best way to go about it is to take an all-day tour. These include lunches on the boat, and you can see the beautiful scenery first-hand. Don’t forget to take your camera!
Allow yourself to get lost in the colorful Flower Forest
Barbados’ Flower Forest offers visitors a chance to enjoy the majesty of 50 acres of trees and flowers for an entry fee of only $15, a small price to pay for a modern day Garden of Eden. It is located 750 feet above the sea level, so you won’t only enjoy the beautiful foliage, but also an amazing and relaxing view. And if this incredible forest wasn’t enough, you can also visit the Andromeda Botanic Gardens.
Visit the depths of the sea in a submarine
This isn’t something everyone has the guts for, but if you’re brave enough to go underwater in a submarine, only one company in Barbados offers these tours, Atlantis Submarines Barbados. Nothing will give you the inspiration you need than seeing the beautiful and untouched nature of the ocean when you go 150 feet below the surface. You will surely enjoy the once in a lifetime sights these tours offer.
Visit the ruins of Farley Hill
Farley Hill was once the most amazing and impressive mansions you could see in Barbados. It was built in 1818, and it was under constant construction for the next few decades. However, it was tragically destroyed in a fire back in 1965. What was once a home is now a national park that you can visit, walk around or even enjoy a picnic at. The history of this place is sure to give you chills, and those breathtaking views will make you never want to leave. Your inner artist will love this place, and you will not regret visiting Barbados.
