The Most Expensive Celebrity Homes: Some of Them Will Blow Your Mind!
Whenever we imagine a dream home, one of these houses come to our mind. These are the most beautiful and expensive celebrity homes in the world.
We all want to know more about the lifestyles of the celebrities — what their kitchens and bathrooms look like, the t style of furniture they have, and the kind of view they have from their terraces?
This isn’t a new fascination. The interest originates in the days of old Hollywood. Ever since, the stars’ home tours are among the most successful tourist attractions in California.
Take just a glimpse of how the other half lives to see how impressive that is.
$9.5 million – Adele’s Beverly Hills home
The British singer apparently decided to come to the US since she recently bought a 6,600 square feet family home in Beverly Hills. She decided upon a child-friendly house with a treehouse and an outside pool. We think this palace-like home with the white interior is a perfect base for her family. And she is not in a bad neighborhood either – close to her is Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Jennifer Lawrence, and Cameron Diaz.
$17.7 million – Taylor Swift’s mansion in Rhode Island
Allegedly, Taylor paid for this huge place in cash. Therefore, our guess is that sales of her album are going just fine if she can buy another expensive home. She named this mansion Providence, and it is right next to the ocean. It has its own big swimming pool just in case the sea gets too cold, and yeah, five acres of land around it. She also cannot complain about the company, since Oprah and Katie Holmes have property here as well.
$28 million – Jennifer Lopez’s estate in Bel Air
This huge place spans across 8 acres of Bel Air, and it was built in 1940 by Samuel Marx. We can see that Jennifer really knows how to enjoy. This place has a manmade swimming pool, a back garden that is an exotic paradise, an amphitheater in the lawn and a multitude of lavish rooms that fuse classic styles with modernist colors.
$30million – Mark Zuckerberg’s San Francisco homes
Yep, you read it right, homes. To get as much privacy as is possible, the Facebook founder bought three houses around his own, for the total of $30 mil. Even though it isn’t Beverly Hills, Zuckerberg’s home is still prime real estate because of the connection to the Silicon Valley and Palo Alto. His homes are not palace like those of other celebrities on this list, but they still cost as much. His main home is gorgeous. It has over 17,000 square feet of grounds, a beautiful pool, and spacious minimalistic rooms.
$54 million – Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion
This is probably one of the most famous luxury homes in the entire world. It has 20,000 square feet, 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, and it was built in 1927 in an English Manor style. It is placed in the Holmby Hills area in California. Inside is everything you could ever dream of – a tennis court, gym, catering kitchen, a zoo and a wine cellar.
$85 million – Oprah Winfrey’s mansion in Santa Barbara
Okay, we know her net worth is $2.7 billion, but still, this seems a bit too much. Oprah reportedly spent the same amount she paid for this home on the renovations, and the design of every room is grand and traditional. There is also an orchard, man-made lake, a pool, a guest house bigger than most people’s actual homes. Aw, right, also, for some reason Oprah loves fireplaces, so there are more of those than there are bedrooms. Her neighbors are Ellen Degeneres, Portia De Rossi, and Drew Barrymore.
$150million – Aaron Spelling’s LA manor
This insanely successful TV producer started building this 56,000 square feet giant back in 1988. When people talk about it, they say The Manor, and it actually has its own Wikipedia page. Not to mention that it is right on top of the list of most expensive homes.
This place covers 4,6 acres, and it cost $12 million to build from the ground up. It is designed in a French chateau style.
Spelling died in this home in 2006, at age 83, and it was bought by one of the daughters of Bernie Ecclestone. Still, whoever owns it, it will always be called ‘Spelling’s Manor.’
