Spilling the Tea

When it comes to real estate, Tommy and his wife have apparently had one rollercoaster ride of a year. Just a few months ago, Hilfiger and Ocleppo parted ways with their former $45 million Greenwich, Connecticut European-styled home.

And just 3 months ago, the couple dropped $9 million on a house in the Palm Beach area. A mere few weeks after getting their hands off their Golden Beach mansion, they went on to purchase yet another Palm Beach area residence. That’s one hell of a shopping spree!

The property previously belonged to a board chairman of United Medical Cooperation, Donald Dizney. He bought the gorgeous beach house back in 2013, paying about $4 million for it. He put the house up on the market in December 2020 with the price tag of $21.5 million, nearly 5 times its original buying sum. Nevertheless, Hilfiger was able to get the deal closed at $21 million.

Inside the Property

The 5,047 square feet home comes with a total of three bedrooms and four bathrooms along with a powder room. It is a Mediterranean-styled home perched on the beachfront. The grand residence has many quite impressive features within it, such as an amazing gourmet kitchen with all stoned countertops, a library, a dining area, two lush and gorgeous courtyards, as well as a number of living areas.

The main suite is located up the stairs, which has walk-in closets, his and her bathroom, a sitting room, and open terraces that allow for breathtaking views of the water out front. The house has a second-floor apartment for guests and a garage big enough for two cars. The backyard is full of greenery, with palm trees and what-not. There is also a barbeque terrace, a swimming pool, and easy access to the deck.

Wrapping It Up

Many people saw the Hilfigers’ sale of their Connecticut Estate as a real loss in the face of the difficult year that was 2020. However, their latest shopping spree has reassured the public that being the face of a luxury high-end brand comes with glamour and riches guaranteed.
