Another Feather in the Cap for Kim

Kim Kardashian is known for being a reality show star, businesswoman, media personality, and now a billionaire. According to Forbes, Kim Kardashian is officially a billionaire. Last October, she had $780 million. Still, that number increased after the high sales from her businesses –KKW Beauty and Skims – her reality show, a number of endorsement deals, including some investments.

Where It All Began

Kim Kardashian stepped into the makeup industry in 2017 and launched KKW Beauty soon after her half-sister Kylie Jenner’s success. Adopting a similar style and heavy social media marketing, Kim was able to turn her first launch into a major success.

Since then, the beauty brand expanded to eyeshadows, concealers, and even had collaborations with many famous names including make-up artist Mario Dedivanovi, popularly known as Makeup by Mario. By the end of 2018, KKW Beauty added a whopping $100 million to Kim’s name.

On the other hand, Skims is the shapewear brand that she owns most of, which was launched in 2019. The company quickly changed its style soon after the pandemic, targeting the young demographic by introducing comfy clothes.  Forbes made an estimate stating that Kim’s stake in the company is worth $225 million, clearly making her a billionaire.

While the reality star has quite a number of critics, if there’s one thing they all can agree on is the fact that Kim Kardashian is a smart businesswoman.
