And although the Capri and Santorini Islands have their own charm, some other islands in the world are even more appealing. These are some of the islands that you should know about in case you want to visit someplace less crowded after the pandemic:

The Paros Island has all of the white exteriors that comes to a person’s mind when they think about Greece, and the best thing about this island is that no weirdos are walking around with selfie sticks out there. The island has a town close by, which is known as Naoussa. Every summer, the place goes wild with restaurants and small shops offering linen and other chic clothing along with leather-made footwear.

Koh Yao Noi Island, Thailand

If you want to visit this magnificent island, all you have to do is take a 20-minute speedboat ride from Phuket, Thailand. Although the place is quite silent at night, it makes up for it with its amazing sunsets, gorgeous beaches, and local charm. The island also contains a luxury hotel that serves one of the best Thai cuisines.

Just across the city of Dubrovnik lies a bunch of small islands that are longing to be visited if you’re ever in Croatia. You can take the ferry service to explore the place, but the locals recommend a catamaran if you really want to enjoy your day trip. The waters are cool, and the landscape is greener than usual. Meanwhile, the island’s hotels are pure luxury.

If other islands in Turks and Caicos are overcrowded and you want to spend your time in a calmer and fresher place, consider visiting Parrot Cay. This island, which many celebrities call home, contains only one resort, so there’s no need to worry about overcrowding.
