‘The Daily Show’ Host Trevor Noah Sold His Posh Bel Air Property For a Whopping Price

The COVID-19 pandemic does not discriminate – it also affected the rich and the elite. This involves entertainment personalities like Trevor Noah, who has been hosting ‘The Daily Show’ from the comfort of his home.

The South African artist has been filming his show from his penthouse in Manhattan in the past few months. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he listed his Bel Air mansion. After all, the less-frequented abode is gathering dust, so Trevor’s decision to put it on the market is only logical.

Bel Air Property

The palatial estate, which was recently bought for $21.7 million by an undisclosed buyer, is located at a cul-de-sac area on the hillside of the posh Bel-Air neighborhood. The house spans 10,444 square feet and has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

The main suite, measuring 2,200 sq ft, nearly occupies all of the second floor. The spacious room, which is much bigger than a usual American home, boasts two walk-in closets, two marble bathrooms, and a patio.

It has an interesting look because it’s noticeably long and boxy, which isn’t typical for big houses. To balance the narrowness of the abode, big glass windows and sliders are scattered. The living room and dedicated dining room are separated by a minimalist fireplace. However, most areas flow into each other.

The house is also swarming with contemporary amenities like a gourmet kitchen with designer appliances, ‘disappearing’ Fleetwood doors, a spacious home theater, and perhaps the most attention-grabbing, a 500-gallon aquarium.

Outside, there’s a huge infinity pool and guests will be in awe of the breathtaking views of the skyline as well as the Pacific Ocean. It remains unknown why Trevor chose to let go of this mansion but it is worth noting that he has been staying in Manhattan since March.

Manhattan Penthouse

Trevor purchased the Manhattan penthouse in 2017 after taking on the big responsibility of hosting the Emmy Award-winning ‘The Daily Show.’ This property is in the same building where he used to rent.

It is located in Hell’s Kitchen, which is a plus for Trevor since this is close to the studio of the highly acclaimed show. Unlike his Bel Air house, the Manhattan apartment is in a relatively busy area but because his home is on the 17th and 18th floors, he is awarded an unobstructed view of the surroundings.

There are three bedrooms and two en suite bathrooms. The main suite is the entire second floor, which has high ceilings and large mullioned windows, making the space appear bright and breezy.
