Even though Wayne Price did this out of kindness and his main goal was to protect the kids and put a smile on their faces, he drew lots of attention. He was worth more than gold to the community. Never once had he failed them. Every family was thankful to him for the way he cared about his kids, as he calls them. However, he wasn’t too interested in people’s attention and he thought his action was not newsworthy. He wanted this to stay between him and the kids. He did not want to steal the thunder from the town since it is a giving place itself.
